Just 10 Seconds!

I’ve heard such great feedback from those of you who have incorporated the 10 Second Postural Stretch into your routines!  Everyone has time for 10 seconds for better health and wellness!  Here’s a reminder:

Sari’s Quick Tip:

Inexpensive and Effective Ice Pack

Mix 1 part rubbing alcohol with 3 parts water in a Ziploc® bag.  Seal the bag and place it in a second Ziploc® bag to prevent leaks.  Place in freezer.  When cold, wrap in a pillowcase or lightweight towel and apply for 15-20 minutes or until the area feels numb.**

Some Benefits of Icing:
  • Analgesic effect in pain management
  • Anti-inflammatory response
  • Improved circulation
Ice is not just for acute injuries.  The above benefits can be seen for generalized discomfort, headaches and ‘cooling down’ tissues after exercise or injury.

And remember that gentle Craniosacral Therapy is a great resource for tissue and nervous system calming.

Until the next part of our journey,

Sari

**If the area has poor circulation, monitor closely to prevent signs of skin irritation or frostbite.
