Sari’s Quick Tip:
10 Second Grounding Exercise
Here is a quick method for feeling calmer in this (and every) busy time of year:
1. Tap your feet gently on the ground. This gives you awareness of the ground beneath you. Be Grounded.
2. Take a breath. You can’t breathe in the past or save up extra breaths for the future! Be Present.
3. Now take a breath that you imagine coming from the bottom of your tailbone up your spine, dividing at the head into two Rams’ horns along the side of your temples. Be Centered.
This breath up your midline simulates the flow of the cerebrospinal fluid (produced in the ventricles of the brain), which nourishes your brain and spinal cord.
