Sari’s Quick Tip:
30 Second Breathing Exercise

Here is a simple exercise that can help you continue on your path to being in the Present through Breath.

This photo was taken by my friends Dr. Alan and Kirin Christianson http://myintegrativehealth.com/ while on a family volunteer/vacation to Thailand.

Even Ronald knows that he needs to
slow down and breathe!

Place your palms together with your thumbs touching your sternum (breastbone).

  1. Take a breath in while drawing the little fingers apart for 2 counts and then together for 2 counts.
  2. Now do the same with the ring fingers, middle, index and thumbs, breathing in for 2 counts and out for 2 counts.
  3. Now, take one final breath, with awareness of your thumbs in your heart space.  Breathe in for 5 counts and out for 5 counts.
  4. Resume your normal breathing.
The result?
This is another tool to help you to feel more Grounded, Present, Centered and Calm.

Enjoy the Journey.  Be Present!
