January 2013 Newsletter
I've never been much for making New Year's Resolutions.
If there's something to be done, why wait for a certain date
or day of the week to start?
I have created Vision Boards, though, which are a fun, creative way to get inspiration and set intentions for the future. It's not too late to create your own Vision Board. This year, I met with a group of 4 women on New Year's Day, paging through stacks of magazines for words and images to create collages that inspired and expressed our desires while enthusiastically supporting one another.
How does staying in the Present connect with setting intentions for the future? Sometimes, we just have to dream, then take a breath and come back to the present!
Last year, my Vision board was Very Full, Busy and Wonderful. And my year was, well, Full, Busy and, gratefully Wonderful!
This year, I set an intention to simplify my Vision Board and my Visions.
I chose a smaller board, less words and reminded myself that it all revolved around my goals of Balance and Harmony for the year ahead.
I found Striking the Perfect Balance in one magazine and celebrated the perfect size, background and font for my Vision Board collage. But at the end of the day, I actually never found the word Harmony. But I'm looking for it in every aspect of my life, along with the Perfect Balance!

You can hear these beautiful cds during a relaxing
