In September, I returned to Kiental, Switzerland to assist
Michael Shea, PhD in a course entitled "
Ignition and the Midline."
In a car, ignition occurs when a spark ignites the fuel-air mixture.
In Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy,
Ignition refers to a
Transition to a deeper level of
Transformation.
Developmental transitions include conception, birth and the power of the first breath, adolescence, aging and the power of the final breath.
Think about how you transition in life. Do you find yourself fighting against the multitude of changes life presents, or conversely, do you easily accept these changes; "going with the flow"? Can you be aware of how your pace shifts during these transitions?
Heart to heart connections, a relationship with nature, mindfulness and breath awareness are all tools that we can use to embrace change.
Through slowing and stillness, we invite our heart and brain to connect with ourselves and others. This is the essence of the therapeutic process and ignites our deeper sense of health and well-being.
A comfortable and safe environment combined with a slow pace, serve to relax the mind and body. This, in turn Ignites the system for change, promoting a sense of Wholeness and Transformation.
Give into the desire to take a deep breath. It's the Spark!

The Fantastic Life
My friend Craig Coppola has written a book called
The Fantastic Life: How to Get It, Live It, and Pass It On.
It's about dreaming big, painting the picture of what a fantastic life looks like to you, and then applying eighteen rules to your life to stay focused, grab opportunity, and thrive!
I really think you would like it. Here is a link to read more about it on Amazon where it’s available for
pre-order. You can also download the first chapter and read excerpts on his website at
